Large Saggar Vessel #3 is a burnished saggar-fired jar. Each piece in this collection was treated using slightly different techniques to create unique effects during firing. This piece in particular incorporated feathers, as well as copper wire and sodium borate, the interaction of which left patches of striking bright green.
These fired works are intended for decorative or dry storage use. Keep out of extended direct sunlight and DO NOT place water in these vessels as low-fired pottery is not watertight.
