FAQs

I BOUGHT A MUG/PLATE/BOWL IN YOUR OLD STYLE AND IT BROKE. cAN I GET A REPLACEMENT?

Yes :) Please send me an email with what you need and I will put up a custom listing for you. Be aware that my prices have risen due to materials cost.

Why could it take my order 2-3 weeks to ship?

Some pieces are made to order, and these will take longer to ship than one-of-a-kind collection pieces that are already made. Depending on the complexity of the piece, it might need to be thrown or hand built, dried slowly, then bisque fired, glazed, and glaze fired. Each of these steps can take several days. I appreciate your patience during the making process!

Can I Put water in my vase or jar?

The answer is, it depends on the piece. Please see the details on the product page. Stoneware vases are fine to use with water. Raku and saggar fired vases are treated to hold water, but it is recommended that you use them as art pieces or for dried decorations only, as extended water contact could alter the finish. Do not put water in raku or saggar jars.

Do you take coMmissions for custom pieces or remakes of ooak items?

I am not taking fully custom orders at this time, but if you see a sold-out item I can re-make it upon request. Be aware that because my processes are volatile, it WILL NOT look exactly the same as the piece on listing photo. Contact me via email with your thoughts, and if we decide to work together, I’ll add a custom listing on the site that you can buy.

Do you have an Etsy shop?

No, I don’t. Etsy has been raising fees on sellers, charging them for ads, and pushing them to waive shipping. Meanwhile, their stock price has doubled. Check out #EtsyStrike for more information.
